As an amp doctor, solder uncle, and tube freak, I am known among my customers for quick and professional maintenance and repair work. Small innovative ideas have always played a big role in the daily challenges of the guitar amplifier business. Retrofitting loop paths, adding a second master volume, footswitch upgrades, etc. I always find the right solution. Due to the many requests to modify and upgrade amps, I ultimately came up with the obvious idea to design my own dream amp.
We wanted to construct a guitar amplifier
that is unparalleled,
with high-quality components,
unique design, and innovative ideas. It should be constructed using all-tube technology, hand-wired and built, light, portable, easy to use, and have a fantastic sound. All of this in eye-catching colors and outfits.
After a prototype was manufactured, we consistently developed,
improved, and optimized it.
What resulted is the
Tasty 19 PT in
Connected Combo Design®!
A handy head with 19 tube watts, a clean channel with various sound options, and the corresponding combo box, which can be combined with the head.
We implemented some ideas in the Tasty that are unique in both design and function. The head can be connected to the combo box via a central screw, forming a combo unit (Connected Combo Design®) that is easy to carry and transport.
To simplify the attachment and accessibility of the central screw, we made the upper back wall foldable.
The speaker of the combo box is connected to the head via contacts.
No speaker cable is needed!
If the head is used with another box, the Tasty naturally has an output jack that allows you to connect the box with the included speaker cable.
The combo box is designed so that the Tasty head fits perfectly and can be securely connected with the central screw.
We use very lightweight wood
to reduce the weight as much as possible.
Our housings are handcrafted in our own wood workshop, sawed, milled, drilled, and glued. The housings are covered with Tolex, either according to
specifications from our color palette
or by customer request. Even
our leather corners are hand-stamped and attached with decorative rivets.
Our amplifier chassis is drilled in our own electrical workshop. The turret board is hand-assembled with solder points and soldered with high-quality, electrically oversized components (point to point). We use power supply transformers from Canada that
are also larger and, together with
high-quality electrolytic capacitors, provide
greater safety and headroom.
For "good tone," we use high-quality capacitors that are installed in the signal path and tone stack and increase in sonic quality with use of the amplifier. All components such as potentiometers, jacks, switches, etc. are carefully selected and specifically matched to the Tasty .
The tubes are also selected and matched to our amplifier.
You can give your Tasty a personal look and thus further personalize it.

Additional color options
Due to the handmade production, there may be tolerances in the manufacturing process, which do not affect the functionality and sound of the Tasty. Since each amp is produced individually upon customer request, one should expect a delivery time of approximately 8-12 weeks, depending on the availability of the materials used, such as wood, metal, and electrical components. In all the excitement and anticipation, one should therefore practice a bit of patience.
